Creation Baumann has announces the launch of its new Essenza collection from the Living Line which can be used in healthcare, corporate or hospitality applications due to its variety in both material and design.
Essenza is a play on the true "essence" of things, marked by a subtle elegance in 19 patterns, all featuring flame-retardant Trevira CS. The Essenza collection features five diaphanous curtain sheers specifically designed for hospitality venues: Aimee, Amethyst, Jaspis, Jaspis Stripe and Kyra Un.
Aimee is a delicate voile printed with hand-painted blossoms while Amethyst features a supremely sheer look in 17 somber shades. Jaspis has a tone-tone coloring of weft and warp, Jaspis Stripe is irregularly woven with slender striations and Kyra Un is decidedly understated in 5 shades of white, beige and gray.
The company was created in 1886 by Friedrich Baumann and Albert Brand founding it as Brand & Baumann as producers of linen and semi-linen. At the turn of the 20th century Baumann and Brand went their separate ways with Baumann founding his own linen-producing company Baumann-Grütter. 120 years later, the fourth generation of the family is still running the business with Philippe Baumann at the helm as general manager and with Jörg Baumann serving as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
