Stambul to convert former bank building
Stambul, a developer of commercial/residential projects, has purchased a former bank building in downtown Miami with plans to convert it to a boutique hotel. The proposed 132-key property will be housed in the Langford Building and operated by Trust Hospitality.
The Langford Hotel’s guest room design will feature simple design in a neutral palette inspired by both the 19th-century building’s history and location. Other hotel amenities will include a ground-floor restaurant and The Rooftop Bar.
Stambul began operations in the United States in 2004, and its projects include restaurants, bar/lounges and spas. In exchange for investing in the construction of the hotel, the company is offering the opportunity to acquire U.S. residency through the EB5 Visa program. A development timeline has not been disclosed.
