et in the sparkling Pacific, the naturally beautiful and exotic Isla Palenque will soon welcome a 30-key boutique hotel along with 50 oceanfront homes with Amble Resorts’ upcoming Resort at Isla Palenque.
Spanning more than 400 acres of lush tropics, this private vacation spot is targeted for travelers who seek culturally authentic, ecologically-sustainable and luxurious vacation experiences. Amble will have built upon less than 5 percent of the island even after all construction is complete, thus maintaining nearly all of the island’s ecosystems, panoramic views and natural habitats including the tropical rainforests, mangroves, coconut groves and lagoons.
“By combining unparalleled luxury with the most up-to-date techniques in sustainability, we are creating not only an environmentally friendly, adventure-centric resort, but also a distinctive set of comfortable, graceful homes – far removed from the bustling of the typical tourist crowds,” said Benjamin Loomis, president of Amble Resorts.
The design of both the hotel and the homes by 4240 Architecture, features a stylish, contemporary interpretation of traditional local architecture that celebrates the island’s natural setting.
Preconstruction sales will begin in January 2010, and the first phase of development is scheduled for completion in either late 2011 or early 2012.
