A
dding to its roster of hip restaurants like BOA Steakhouse, Katana and Sushi Roku, Innovative Dining Group (IDG) has announced the opening of its concept for the W Hollywood and Residences, Delphine Eatery & Bar.
Designed by New York-based Zeff Design, Delphine is a casual eatery with that oh-so-easily-chic feel oft found along the European Riviera. Old World and New World come together in the restaurant's soft color palette of blue and white, with bistro seating in the bar, wicker furnishings, silver antique cabinetry and modern wind turbine style ceiling fans. White ceramic tiles meant to look like Parisian Metro tiles line the walls to help create a multi-cultural dining experience in the heart of Hollywood. The chef hails from famous NYC spots like Daniel and Balthazar. Exec chef Sascha Lyon, has crafted a menu of regional flavors found in kitchens and inns throughout French and Italian towns along the Mediterranean coast.
The 6,000-square-foot space also includes Station Hollywood, an outdoor, dual-level bar and lounge named for the Metro Red Line station located at Hollywood and Vine, and The Living Room, W’s interpretation of the modern hotel lobby. Station Hollywood acts as a welcoming destination for locals and hotel guests as well as evening visitors seeking hand-crafted cocktails and small noshes. A 600-square-foot retractable outdoor screen there acts as a focal point during special events held in the space. The Living Room, a dramatic and modern, glamour-inspired location, is W’s offering for late-night visitors on their way back to their rooms, or those meeting up with hotel guests.
