ilson Associates has relocated its New York office to the Flatiron district on 5th Avenue. The New York office has recently completed several new properties including the Stowe Mountain Resort in Vermont, Fontainebleu Miami Beach in Florida, Fairmont Monte Carlo in Monaco and Eden Roc, a Renaissance Resort & Spa in Miami Beach, Florida.
Residing on the top floor of a historic building built in 1906, which once housed the flagship Lord & Taylor department store, the new office has 22-foot ceilings and more than 7,000 square feet of open space divided between the two floors. The space also features large French doors, Juliet balconies on every window and an original antiqued green, iron anodized freight elevator façade.
“I am thrilled to relocate the Wilson Associates New York office to the heart of the flatiron district of Manhattan,” said Margaret McMahon, Managing Director, Wilson Associates. “This historic building is a New York City landmark and unites architectural expression both through the interior and exterior spaces. We look forward to many successful years here.”
The interior was also laid out in accordance to Feng Shui principles by Feng Shui consultant Christine Bushell of SynerCh’I LLC.
