Brintons Carpets Launches New Online Collection, Perceptions

B rintons Carpet has launched a new design collection, Perceptions, available only online, marking the first of several online developments coming down the pipe-line in 2010.

Perceptions features eight distinct concepts each with six to ten patterns that explore the dialogue between color and scale, highlighting a delicate use of textures. The designs were developed by an in-house team of designers in America and have never been published before.

“Perceptions isn’t a particularly big collection but the designs within it are beautifully exclusive and will offer designers a fresh and inspirational viewpoint that isn’t currently available,” said John Bain, Brintons’ Global Design Director. “The launch of this new online collection marks the beginning of a fresh approach from Brintons that will take our design leadership to a whole new interactive level that will allow our design customers to enjoy even greater flexibility through superb design.”

Brintons’ next foray in the online realm will be the launch the new ‘Design Studio Online,’ an interactive design program that will allow Brintons’ customers to access more than 100,000 designs from its archive, alter the color palette to satisfy their desired vision and then view the designs in a computer generated 3D commercial interior. Although Brintons has yet to announce the official launch date of the online Design Studio, more details are set to emerge in March.
